When You Wish Upon a Star is incredibly proud to celebrate 35 years of granting magical wishes for children facing life-threatening and terminal illnesses. To mark this milestone, we are launching a £350,000 fundraising campaign to continue creating precious memories and bringing the magic of childhood to truly deserving children.
Throughout the year, we’ll be hosting a variety of exciting events and fundraising opportunities—we’d love for you to be a part of it! Join us in making our 35th anniversary a year to remember.

Face the Fear
At When You Wish Upon a Star, we are incredibly proud of the courageous Wish children we support. Their bravery in facing diagnoses, invasive treatments, surgeries, and the challenges of missing out on school and everyday childhood activities is truly inspiring.
As part of our 35th anniversary, we invite you to Face the Fear in honour of these remarkable children. Step outside your comfort zone and take on one of our thrilling Face the Fear fundraising challenges!
We are also thrilled to welcome our new Ambassador, Carl Cunnard, who is leading the way by taking on a Face the Fear challenge himself. Carl knows firsthand the life-changing impact of a Wish, as his own brother was granted a special Wish while battling Leukaemia as a child.

ThirTea Fifth Coffee Morning
Help us celebrate 35 years of granting wishes by hosting a ThirTEA Fifth Birthday Event for us!
Celebrate with friends, families or colleagues and host a tea party or cake sale to help grant wishes for children with life threatening illnesses and their families. From schools to community groups and event at work everyone can get onboard and help celebrate 35 years of granting wishes to children with life threatening or life limiting illnesses!
How can you get involved:
Host a ThirTEA Fifth Coffee morning to help raise funds, you can do this in your school or work place or even host a family party at home!
Get creative and bake a cake or your favourite savoury dish for all to share.
