Freya's Wish

Meet inspirational Freya and her lovely family, big sister Eliza, brother Harris and her loving parents Louise and Adam. Freya is a wonderful 9 year old girl who loves music, dancing, family time and musicals, where she knows alongside her sister, every word to her favourite, Hamilton!

Freya has lived with the life threatening illness Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and like for many of our families whose children received a diagnosis and had to go through treatments over the pandemic, all faced and had to adhere to the toughest isolation restrictions and faced a long period of time away from family and friends.

When You Wish Upon a Star granted Freya’s Wish to go to Disneyland Paris with her family and experience the true Disney magic. 

We set a couple of Wish challenges for Freya, Eliza and Harris, to meet the pilots on your plane to Paris and try to find the mystical dragon that lives in the underground of the Disney.

Freya and her family unlocked the magic within, met favourite characters, went on the rides, walked down Main Street, celebrated Freya’s birthday and created the most incredible memories that will last forever. 

Freya’s mum Louise said:

“We cannot even begin to tell you how amazing a time we had. Freya did SO well and had the BEST time imaginable… we all did. Sending a huge thank you to you all.”
